LEAD LVT

Anita moved to the Pacific Northwest in 2009 from Philadelphia, where she earned her degree as a Licensed Veterinary Technician in 2007. She originally hails from the great state of Kansas, and while growing up, she was always surrounded by animals and knew at a very young age she wanted to work in veterinary medicine. With close to 30 years of working in Veterinary Medicine, Anita has worked in veterinary ophthalmology specialty practices since January 2010, but she also has experience in emergency/ICU practices and shelter medicine.

With her husband, stepson and furbabies, Atlas the Golden Retriever and Bube the Bengal cat, Anita’s free time is best spent working in her gardens, canning, catching live music, and enjoying local restaurants and ciders.

Madison L.

LEAD VA

Madison has lived in the Pacific Northwest for her entire life. She grew up in the South King County area and prefers living in small towns on land away from the hustle and bustle of big cities. Madison started her veterinarian medicine career as an equine veterinarian assistant. After working in equine medicine for a number of years, she decided to go back to school, where she obtained her Biology Degree at the University of Washington. Shortly after, she found her way back to veterinary medicine and now works with small animals. Madison is very passionate about wildlife biology and conservation, new and exciting medicine, and maintaining animal welfare.

In her spare time, you can find Madison trying to keep up with her German Shorthaired Pointer, Bohdie, camping with friends and family, or curled up reading a book. Her love for travel has her always planning for her next great adventure.

Tensie P.

VA

Having worked as a receptionist in a high-volume clinic, Tensie’s favorite aspect of the field is meeting and interacting with all the wonderful clients (both furry and human!) and making their visits as smooth as possible. She is looking forward to learning all the ins and outs of assisting and, one day, becoming an LVT.

In Tensie’s spare time, she enjoys spending time with her “mini-zoo,” which consists of cats, dogs, lizards, chinchillas and a ferret. Her 13-year-old mutt, Snoopy, is the love of her life! When she isn’t cuddling or caring for animals, she enjoys hiking, camping, riding her e-bike and going on adventures with her fiancée. She can also binge-watch Netflix with the best of them.

Autumn

CSR

Autumn moved to Washington in 2019 and picked up where she left off in animal care. Starting out as a volunteer at her hometown animal shelter, it did not take long for her to decide that animal care was where she wanted to be. She has worn many "hats" while working with animals, having worked with multiple animal shelters as a kennel technician and a receptionist for general practice veterinarians. She has also managed a boarding facility and assisted two specialty veterinarians.

She spends her free time with her small family and cat, Sir Nimbus Cloud. She enjoys all the great things that the Pacific Northwest has to offer, and she is looking forward to meeting new clients and patients.
