Dr. Maizie Humphrey

Dr. Maizie Humphrey

DVM

Dr. Maizie Humphrey grew up in Rhode Island surrounded by family and many pets of all shapes, sizes, and species. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2019, then lived and worked in Philadelphia for another three years before moving to Seattle. Her professional passions include surgery, dentistry, management of chronic illnesses, and client education. When she’s not caring for pet patients, Dr. Maizie enjoys exploring the Pacific Northwest with her partner, Corey. Her hobbies include hiking, skiing, sailing, listening to live music, and trying new restaurants.

DVM

Dr. Camille Ogdon, DVM, is so excited to be caring for your pets in her hometown! After attending Washington State University for her bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, she started veterinary school at St. George's University and spent her clinical year at Oregon State University. After many years of studying away from home, Dr. Cami is so happy to be in the Des Moines Marina area again. Dr. Cami values holistic approaches to medicine and is working towards her rehabilitation therapy and acupuncture certifications. She also considers herself a crazy doodle lady and has a mini Goldendoodle named Bindy. In her free time, she enjoys going to concerts, doing arts and crafts, playing video games, and traveling the world. Her favorite places she has traveled to are Ireland, Disneyland, and Antarctica.

Dr. Jamie Publicover

DVM

Dr. Jamie Publicover graduated from the University of Glasgow in Scotland in 2020. She originally hails from Germany, but spent the majority of her childhood in the Midwest US, attending Purdue University for her undergraduate degree. She has called Washington her home since 2020 and is continuously fascinated by the beauty of the Pacific Northwest. She enjoys life with her husband, cat, dog, turtle, and two guinea pigs. She loves traveling and has visited over 20 countries so far, with plans to visit as many as possible. Her passion is exotic animal medicine because it provides an endless amount of variety and makes her want to learn something new every day. Her favorite thing to do as a veterinarian is to work with clients and their pets to come up with a plan that works for everyone, allowing clients to take ownership in their pet's medical care. In her free time she loves to read dystopian fiction and fantasy, play board games, binge watch Netflix, and do yoga.

Dr. Abhishek Trikha

DVM, M.S (“DR. ABHI”)

Dr. Abhishek Trikha, DVM, M.S ., is a small animal veterinarian with seven years of experience working in small animal clinics that focus on providing quality medicine to pets. His areas of expertise include internal medicine, preventive care, and pain management, especially for geriatric patients. He strongly believes in the human-animal bond and cherishes the unselfish love animals give. In his spare time, he likes spending time with his four-legged daughter, Mali, and his wife. He also enjoys reading books on self-help, business, and leadership. He is in love with his one-year-old son, Aaarav, who gives him unfiltered joy every day.

Anita moved to the Pacific Northwest in 2009 from Philadelphia, where she earned her degree as a Licensed Veterinary Technician in 2007. She originally hails from the great state of Kansas, and while growing up, she was always surrounded by animals and knew at a very young age she wanted to work in veterinary medicine. With close to 30 years of working in Veterinary Medicine, Anita has worked in veterinary ophthalmology specialty practices since January 2010, but she also has experience in emergency/ICU practices and shelter medicine.

With her husband, stepson and furbabies, Atlas the Golden Retriever and Bube the Bengal cat, Anita’s free time is best spent working in her gardens, canning, catching live music, and enjoying local restaurants and ciders.

Ashley has lived in the Pacific Northwest her entire life and had animals when she was growing up. She was introduced to the veterinary field in 2019. This is where she found her calling and passion for animals. After being in the field for six months, she realized this is what she wants to do for the rest of her life. She earned a certificate as a certified veterinary assistant from Pima Medical Institute. She furthered her education at the same school and graduated with an associate's degree in the applied science of veterinary technology and earned her veterinary technician license.

She moved to Seattle in May 2021 with her cats, Ash Lee, Maki Lynn, and Tao Loki, her dog, Dixie Lane, and her partner, David. Cats are Ashley's passion, but she loves the diversity of other animals. When she’s not at the hospital, she is snuggling with her cats or playing English Handbells. She’s been playing handbells for over a decade of her life.

Kristin was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. She earned her degree as a Licensed Veterinary Technician from Pierce College in 2013. With close to 10 years of experience in Veterinary Medicine, Kristin has worked in high-volume spay and neuter, mixed practices (horses, goats), shelter medicine, and general practices.

Kristin loves her fur family, Lou, Tia, and Coco. In her spare time, she enjoys doing anything outdoors, including hiking, paddle boarding, and skiing.

Alicia has lived in the greater Seattle area all her life. She has known she wanted to be in the veterinary field since she was a child. In 2020, she graduated from Pierce College as a Licensed Veterinary Technician.

In addition to spending time at home with her cat, Chester, she enjoys playing video games with her boyfriend and curling up with a good book or crocheting.

Madison L.

Madison has lived in the Pacific Northwest for her entire life. She grew up in the South King County area and prefers living in small towns on land away from the hustle and bustle of big cities. Madison started her veterinary medicine career as an equine veterinarian assistant. After working in equine medicine for a number of years, she decided to go back to school, where she obtained her Biology Degree at the University of Washington. Shortly after, she found her way back to veterinary medicine and now works with small animals. Madison is very passionate about wildlife biology and conservation, new and exciting medicine, and maintaining animal welfare.

In her spare time, you can find Madison trying to keep up with her German Shorthaired Pointer, Bohdie, camping with friends and family, or curled up reading a book. Her love for travel has her always planning for her next great adventure.

Sara graduated from Grand Valley State University in 2008 with a degree in Biology. Animals have always been her biggest passion, and she has experience working as a veterinary assistant in general practice, emergency medicine, and ophthalmology. She worked previously as a zookeeper and volunteered in wildlife and marine animal rehabilitation. She has two pets of her own: Goobs, a 13-year-old Golden Retriever mix, and Sir Severus Snake von Slitherscales, a ball python. Sara serves on the Board of Directors for Orca Conservancy, working to protect the endangered Southern Resident Killer Whales. Her other hobbies include deliberate cold exposure, photography, hiking and camping, kayaking and paddle boarding, drawing and painting, and mycology.

Having worked as a receptionist in a high-volume clinic, Tensie’s favorite aspect of the field is meeting and interacting with all the wonderful clients (both furry and human!) and making their visits as smooth as possible. She is looking forward to learning all the ins and outs of assisting and, one day, becoming an LVT.

In Tensie’s spare time, she enjoys spending time with her “mini-zoo,” which consists of cats, dogs, lizards, chinchillas and a ferret. Her 13-year-old mutt, Snoopy, is the love of her life! When she isn’t cuddling or caring for animals, she enjoys hiking, camping, riding her e-bike and going on adventures with her fiancée. She can also binge-watch Netflix with the best of them.

Al has always had a love for animals and knew at a young age she would want to work in veterinary medicine. Animal Planet ER was always on before she went to school every morning when she was in elementary school. She has worked at a few vet clinics since 2017. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and gardening.

My name is Amber! I began my journey with the Veterinary Assistant Program at PIMA Medical Institute in 2021. My love for animals drove me to this career and my passion for animal science only continues to grow. I enjoy working with cats the most but will take on any patient that needs my help. I like to draw, read, and go to farmer's markets in my spare time. My goal is to one day open my own cat rescue.

Cindy is a Washington native, but she was raised in Oklahoma and spent some time in New Mexico before returning to her home state. She has worked in the veterinary industry for five years in a general practice facility. Besides seeing puppies and kittens, her favorite thing is assisting in the recovery of sick patients and seeing them regain their health.

When she isn't at work, you will often find Cindy snuggled in bed with her two chihuahuas, Scully and Mulder. She is excited to build and cherish client relationships and treat your furry family like her own.

Jessica was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. She started her veterinary career in 2017 as a Kennel Technician after graduating with a certificate in Veterinary Assisting. Since starting in this industry, Jessica has held positions as a Kennel Technician and Veterinary Assistant, and she found her true passion as a Communication Specialist Representative (CSR). Her desire for client education and satisfaction really drives her career.

You will often find Jessica out hiking with her three-year-old son and dog, Illidan. She also enjoys live music and relaxing with her family. She cannot wait to meet you and your furry family!

Autumn

Autumn moved to Washington in 2019 and picked up where she left off in animal care. Starting out as a volunteer at her hometown animal shelter, it did not take long for her to decide that animal care was where she wanted to be. She has worn many "hats" while working with animals, having worked with multiple animal shelters as a kennel technician and a receptionist for general practice veterinarians. She has also managed a boarding facility and assisted two specialty veterinarians.

She spends her free time with her small family and cat, Sir Nimbus Cloud. She enjoys all the great things that the Pacific Northwest has to offer, and she is looking forward to meeting new clients and patients.

Sarai is from the Pacific Northwest and started working with animals in 2015 as a volunteer at the Humane Society. Since then, she has been training dogs and working as a receptionist at boarding and veterinary facilities. She is so excited to provide great care for you and your critters.

When Sarai isn't at work, you will find her snuggled up on the couch with her two dogs sharing a bowl of popcorn. She also loves hanging out in the sun and getting fresh air with her bearded dragon.

Shelby permanently moved to Washington when she was seven years old. She is a talented receptionist with one year of experience in Veterinary Medicine. Shelby has a special interest in surgery. Assisting clients in stressful, emotional situations is her favorite. 

At home, you will find Shelby watching horror movies or out enjoying live music. Shelby is filled with positive energy and hopes to build lasting relationships with clients.
